An inspection of the immigration system as it relates to the social care sector

The inspection will have a particular focus on the:

• efficiency and effectiveness of the sponsor licencing process
• quality of services provided by the compliance teams, including the provisions in place to safeguard employees from exploitation
• extent and quality of engagement and communications between the Home Office and social care sector

The inspection team anticipates reporting to the Home Secretary by December 2023.
