How to immigrate to Canada?
Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program – AIPP
This class is for employers in Atlantic Canada (New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island) to help them hire foreign skilled workers and international graduates who want to settle in these Atlantic provinces permanently.
How to apply?
The recruitment process and documentation work are initiated and completed by the employer. Once a candidate is identified through the employee recruitment process, then the employer along with their settlement service organization will guide the candidate about the type of application they will need to fill out and will provide them with support documents such as the provincial confirmation of endorsement letter, and a completed offer of employment form to submit with the application. After all background work is completed, the candidate completes the permanent residence application and sends it to IRCC- Centralized Intake Office – Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program for processing.
ATLANTIC HIGH-SKILLED PROGRAM (AHSP)
This program is for an employer to hire high-skilled qualified candidates for the positions they have not been able to fill locally. The candidate must have work experience in management, professional or technical/skilled job for at least 1 year and can be abroad or in Canada temporarily.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Language Must have a minimum of CLB/NCLC 4 in either English or French. Experience Must have 1-year work experience (1560 hours) in the last 3 years in NOC skill type 0, or Skill Levels A or B. Job Offer Must have a job offer from a designated employer, that is full-time, non-seasonal, in skill type/level 0, A, or B and the job offer must be for at least 1 year from the time the candidate becomes a permanent resident. Education A high-school education in Canada or ECA. Settlement fund A specific amount of money (12.5 percent of the low-income cut-off total) is required if you are coming from outside of Canada. If you are lawfully working in Canada, you do not need the settlement fund. Others Letter of Endorsement from an Atlantic province.

ATLANTIC INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE PROGRAM (AIGP)
This program is for employers to hire recent graduates for the positions they have not able to fill locally. The candidate can be abroad or in Canada temporarily, however, they must be a recent graduate of the Publicly funded institutions in an Atlantic province.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Point System n. a Pass score n. a Language Must have a minimum of CLB/NCLC 4 in either English or French. Experience Work experience is not required. Job Offer Must have a job offer in NOC skills type/level 0 or A, or B or C from a designated employer in that province (NB/NFL/NS/PEI). The job must be full-time, non-seasonal, and should last for at least one year after you become a permanent resident. Education You must have at least a 2-year educational credential from a recognized publicly-funded institution in an Atlantic province. Settlement fund A specific amount of money (12.5 percent of the low-income cut-off totals) is required if you are coming from outside of Canada. If you are lawfully working in Canada, you do not need the settlement fund. Others Residence: Must have lived in any of the Atlantic provinces (New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, or Prince Edward Island) for a minimum of 16 months in the two years prior to completing the education. ATLANTIC INTERMEDIATE SKILLED PROGRAM (AIS)
This is for an employer to hire intermediate skilled candidates for the positions they have not able to fill locally. The candidate can be abroad or in Canada temporarily, however, the candidate must have worked in the eligible occupations.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Point System n. a Pass score n. a Language Must have a minimum of CLB/NCLC 4 in either English or French. Experience Must have worked for 1 full year (1560 hours) during last 3 years in either skill level C. OR, you have work experience in NOC Skill Level A 3012, NOC Skill Level B 3233 and have a job offer in NOC skill level C 3413 or NOC skill level C 4412. Hours must be in a single occupation; however, they can be obtained with different employers. Self-employed, voluntary, or unpaid internships don’t count Both Canadian and outside of Canada work experience counts. Job Offer Must have a job offer from a designated employer in NOC skills type/level 0 or A, or B or C which should be non-seasonal, full time and permanent with no end date in the contract. Education Education must be either a Canadian high school or post-secondary education, or a foreign degree accredited in Canada in the last 5 years. Settlement fund A specific amount of money (12.5 percent of the low-income cut-off totals) is required if you are coming from outside of Canada. If you are lawfully working in Canada, you do not need the settlement fund. Others Letter of Endorsement from an Atlantic province.
