Business Immigration Stream
This program is for experienced entrepreneurs to establish, operate, and actively manage a business in NB and live there permanently.
How to apply?
Create an INB profile and register in the appropriate category for expression of interest (EOI). If you were successful, you will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) and will be asked to submit a full application online. You will then receive a support letter for obtaining a temporary work permit from the IRCC. Get your work permit and come to Canada to start your business based on the approved business plan, location, and investment amount. You must run the business for at least 1 year before requesting a nomination certificate. Once you have been nominated, then you can apply for a PR visa to IRCC Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Provincial Point System Expression of interest (EOI) point system for business. Pass score Must get 65 out of 100 total points. Language Must have CLB 5 in either English or French language. Experience Must have a business ownership experience (minimum 51% of total shares) OR “senior manager” experience (NOC 0) in a business for 3 of the last 5 years Job Offer Not required. Education Must have a minimum of a Canadian high school diploma or an equivalent ECA. Settlement Funds Consult program guide requirement. Others Age: Must be between 21 to 59 years old.
