Express Entry Skilled Workers

This program is for foreign skilled workers with a job offer in N.L., who intends to live permanently in N.L. and are already registered in the IRCC express entry system.

How to apply?

Applicants must have an IRCC express entry profile and then submit a PNP application. If the application was approved, the applicant will receive a nomination which will give the applicant 600 points sufficient for them to be invited by IRCC. Once invited by IRCC, the applicant needs to apply for permanent residence.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Point SystemMust have a federal express entry profile.
Provincial point systemPNP point assessment grid which is 100 points in total and includes points of education and training (28 points), skilled work experience (20 points), language ability (27 points), Age (12 points), and connection to the labour market and adaptability (13 points).
Pass scoreMust score a minimum of 67 points out of 100 on the PNP point assessment grid.
LanguageSame as Federal Skilled Workers Program under express entry. Please refer there (or shall I copy them here?)
ExperienceDuration of experience will remain the same as the Federal Express Entry profile selection.
Job OfferMust have a guaranteed offer of employment from a local employer in NOC type 0 or skill levels A, and B, or be working in N.L. on a valid work permit with at least 4 months remaining or be eligible for a work permit.
EducationMust have a Canadian post-secondary education or an ECA.
Settlement FundsThere is no minimum settlement find required; however, it is advisable to have sufficient settlement funds available to support yourself and dependent family members in N.L.
