Long-Haul Truck Driver Project

This program is for Saskatchewan trucking companies to hire long-haul truck drivers permanently. The applicant must already be working for an approved trucking company in Saskatchewan.

How to apply?

Create a profile on the SINP Online portal, complete all sections and upload your documents. Your application will be assessed, and if approved, you will receive a SINP nomination approval letter, work permit support letter, and information on how to apply for PR to IRCC- Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

LanguageCLB/NCLC 4 in either English or French.
ExperienceYou must have a temporary work permit issued by IRCC, which is based on an LMIA from Service Canada.
Job OfferFull-time and permanent job offer from an approved trucking company in Saskatchewan.
EducationA current Saskatchewan Class 1A driver’s license is required. You must already have it if you are in Saskatchewan.
