How to immigrate to Newfoundland and Labrador?

This category is for international skilled workers with a guaranteed offer of employment OR a valid work permit to contribute to the province of Newfoundland and get settled there as permanent residents.

How to apply?

Create an online profile with the Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism (OMI) and submit a complete application for the Skilled Worker program. Your application will be assessed, and you will be given updates through your personal dashboard as well as through email.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

LanguageNo minimum language requirement for NOC 0, A or B, however, the applicant must have sufficient English or French capability to perform the work. Also, NOC Code C or D must meet minimum language requirements (which is CLB 4 in English or French)
ExperienceNo minimum work experience is required. The applicant must have a work permit with at least 4 months remaining or would be entitled to get one. If you are also an owner of the business, your share must not be over 10% in the company.
Job OfferMust have a full-time job offer with a minimum duration of 2 years with the possibility of extension.
EducationNo minimum education is required; however, the applicant must meet the educational qualifications, training and/or accreditation of the offered position.
Settlement FundsSufficient settlement fund to establish himself and dependent family members in N.L.
OthersAge: must be between 21 to 59 years.
