How to immigrate to Prince Edward Island?
Skilled Worker Stream (inside and outside of Canada)
This program is for skilled workers who are currently working in the PEI and live in PEI permanently.
How to apply?
Create a profile on the PEI Expression of Interest system and if found eligible, you will be invited to submit a full application for provincial nomination. Your employer is also asked to complete the employer-related forms. Once nominated, you will need to send your PR application to IRCC along with your nomination certificate to get permanent residence.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Provincial Point System Labour Points Grid for skilled workers which include points for age (15 points), language (20 points), Education (15 points), Work Experience (20 points), employment (15 points), adaptability (15 points). Total Maximum Points: 100. Language Minimum CLB/NCLC 4. Experience Must have 2 years full-time work experience in the past 5 years and hold a valid work permit. Job Offer Must have a full-time, continuous, permanent, or minimum of two years job offer in NOC Skill level 0, A, or B from a PEI employer. Foreign nationals living outside of Canada can also be given a job offer if the employer has prior authorization from the office of immigration. Education Must have post-secondary education or diploma of a minimum of 2 years. Settlement Funds Must have settlement fund. Others Age: 18-59
