This program selects those candidates from the Federal Express Entry system who meet provincial labour market needs. You have to receive a letter of interest (LOI) to apply.

How to apply?

Create an IRCC express entry profile and state your interest in Nova Scotia. If you were selected, you will receive a Letter of Interest through your express entry profile and will be asked to apply to the NS Labour Market Priority steam. You will then need to create a Nova Scotia immigration profile and submit your application for nomination. If you were successful, you will receive a nomination certificate. After you have been nominated by the NS Labour Market Priorities steam, you will need to apply to IRCC for issuing you a permanent residence visa.
