How to immigrate to Alberta?
Foreign Graduate Start-up Visa Stream (FGSVS)

This program is for talented and qualified foreign graduates from outside of Canada to launch a startup business in Alberta and get permanent residence.
How to apply?
A foreign graduate must work with a designated agency that will review their business plan and they will issue a recommendation letter for foreign graduates if they think the plan is meeting the AINP requirements.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Point System FGSVS points grid. Pass score Pass or fail based on FGSVS mandatory minimums. Language Minimum of CLB/NCLC 7 in English or French language. Experience Minimum of 6 months full-time work experience in business management or ownership of business or combination or equivalence. Job Offer n. a Education Must have completed a post-secondary degree outside of Canada within the last 2 years and have obtained an ECA. Settlement Funds Must have sufficient settlement money based on LICO for yourself and dependents while on work permit and during the pre-profitability stage. Others Networth: n. a
Investment: Minimum of $100,000 investment if the business is going to be established in urban centers, if not in the urban center then a minimum of $50,000 is required. The more investment ability the better chances of selection.
Business Plan: present the business plan including projected financials.
Pitch Desk: provide printed slides of a 10-minutes presentation about the business venture.
Business ownership: A minimum of 34% ownership if the business is located in an urban center, or a minimum of 51% ownership if the business is located in rural areas outside of Calgary and Edmonton.
