How to immigrate to British Columbia?
Skills Immigration (SI) – Skilled Workers

This is a direct immigration program intended for skilled workers such as managers, professionals and skilled trades persons with valid job offers from a BC employer.
How to apply?
Create an online IRCC Express Entry profile and meet the requirement of the IRCC express entry programs (FSWP, FSTP, CEC) and then Register with the BC Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). If you pass both minimum program and category requirements, you will receive an invitation to apply under the Express Entry BC stream via BCPNP Online. After your application is assessed and accepted, you will receive a nomination that you can use for applying for permanent residence to IRCC.
SIRS Point-Based Registration System Grid: Economic Factors (120 points) that include Skill Level of the B.C. Job Offer (60 points), Wage of the B.C. Job Offer (50 points), Regional District of Employment (10 points), AND Human Capital Factors (80 points) that include Directly Related Work Experience (25 points), Highest Level of Education (25 points) and language (30 points). Total Max Points (200).
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Provincial Point System Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) Language Valid language test results are not required for NOC skill type 0 or skill level A, however, if you want to claim points for your language proficiency, you will need to have valid language test results at the time of registration. For NOC skill level B, the applicant must have valid language test results of CLB 4 at the minimum at the time of registration. Experience At least 2 years of full-time (or equivalent) job offer related work experience in NOC Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B. Paid co-op experience is also eligible. Job Offer Must have a job offer that is permanent, full-time, and given by an eligible BC employer, in skill type 0 or skill level A or B. LMIA LMIA is not required. Wage Standard Market rate. Education Minimum of post-secondary education or training based on the requirements of the job. Settlement Funds Meet minimum income requirements for your chosen area of residence. BC has a minimum family threshold table for the entire BC. Current Resident You can apply from both inside and outside of Canada.
